Revelation 12:11 says:      'They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death". 

In other words The Lord has allowed us to join him in the triumph over the devil and his agents by providing the Blood himself while we use our testimony of his work in our lives. That is why Satan has every tool that provokes us into fear of testifying. 

I DO NOT FEAR TESTIFYING, TAKE THAT!

Testifying is acknowledgement of God's hand in our lives and a powerful weapon against the devil and the egos of his cohorts.

“Caleb” is my spirit on my birthday today September 23^rd 2021

In thanking God for another milestone of my life, I stand on the encouraging words of Caleb in Joshua 14. At 85 years young Caleb was ready to get started again. He reminds Joshua of God’s promise through Moses 45 years before.

 

Joshua 14:10-12

“Now, as you can see, the Lord has kept me alive and well as he promised for all these forty-five years since Moses made this promise—even while Israel wandered in the wilderness. Today I am eighty-five years old. 11 I am as strong now as I was when Moses sent me on that journey, and I can still travel and fight as well as I could then. 12 So give me the hill country that the Lord promised me.

 

He said he’ was ready to receive and work to maintain it now. He said he felt stronger at 85 than he felt then at 45.  Forty-five years ago, I was a young 20-year-old with lots of hopes and aspirations. Fresh in a new country from a year before at 19 years of age. God has been faithful as he was for Caleb and I’m also ready to get started, again!

 

I am grateful to God Almighty for His love and provision; for all he has taken me through up to where I am, strong and healthy; for all my Family, Parents, relatives and friends from all continents. 

 

I’m just getting started, with God’s Grace more is yet to come in Jesus’ Name. The “Caleb energy” is in my spirit.

Thanks for all your wishes and prayers. In this podcast I have organized a few milestones in my life to highlight what prayer can do to a life. My dedication started with grandmother, to mother, father relatives and many friends and mentors. I, like all of us, stand on the shoulders of many above all buoyed by the steady hand and Grace of God.

The Title of our podcast today is “A grateful heart: how prayer shapes a life”

 

I have a table organized first with 2 theme scriptures to give a short background. We then have a subtitle of a life event, attached to a guiding scripture quote, followed by a life story or pertinent prayer guidance for clarity. While the stories are real life events, some names and places have been changed for privacy of individual.
